The Men’s Bowling Section field teams in the Northern Ireland Private Greens League with the A Team competing in Div. 1 of the Senior League and the B Team competing in Div. 1 of the Junior League. Most League matches are played on Saturday afternoons.
They also field a Mid-Week Team who compete in Div. 2 of the Private Greens Mid-Week League, playing on Wednesday evenings, and a Veterans team who compete under the auspices of the Veterans Bowling League in Section 3 of Zone A, and play on Monday afternoon.
The Men’s Bowling Section boast a number of very handsome trophies which the members compete for annually.
The Ferris Cup – Singles competition, 4 bowls, 21 shots.
The Carleton Cup - H'cap Singles competition, 4 bowls, 21 shots.
The Bell Cup – Singles competition, 4 bowls, 21 ends.
The Savoy Cup – Novice Singles, 4 bowls, 21, shots.
The McKinley Cup – Veterans Singles, 4 bowls, 21 ends.
The Minnis Cups – Pairs competition.
The Carmichael Trophies – Triples competition.
The Stinson Trophy- Singles competition, 2 bowls, 11 ends, open to both men and women.
