Annual Subscriptions
THE DUE DATE HAS NOW PASSED

The due date for the payment of annual subscriptions, viz 28th February, has now passed and in accordance with the Club Rules all those who have not responded either with payment or a letter of resignation are now deemed to have lapsed and are no longer members of the club. They may not represent the Club in any capacity and are not permitted to enter the Club Premises, even as a guest.
Lapsed members who wish to continue their membership must now re-apply through the usual channels and will incur a £10 administration charge on top of all subscription arrears. Application forms are available from the Club Office.

Centenary Memorabilia

Souvenier items comemorating the Club Centenary are available for purchase at the Club Bar.
Pens: £1
Key Rings: £3
Baseball Caps: £6
and of course the Centenary Booklet which contains many photographs and lots of interesting and humourous anecdotes from Club history. Excellent value at £3

Find the Joker

The weekly draw to "Find the Joker" has re-commenced after one lucky Member scooped the £1900 Jackpot on Christmas Eve last.
The new jackpot stands at £315 as at 6th March 2010 and will rise incrementally each week depending on the amount of cash raised from each weeks draw.
This popular venture raises much needed cash for the Club as well as providing a wee interest for the punters on a Saturday evening. Remember members, the more you invest the quicker the jackpot rises until some lucky so and so scoops the prize, then we start all over again. Good punting!

Catering

The meals service provided on most Friday and Saturday evenings from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm remains popular and is still on going.
The menu is varied and includes a selection for kiddies.
The meals are provided by Truly Scrumptious Catering and are excellent value.
Proprieter Kathryn Hamill may be contacted by e.mail:
trulyscrumptious26@hotmail.co.uk or on mobile 0791 207 5499

CLUB NEWS  2009

NEW CLUBHOUSE COMPLETE
The building work on the new Clubhouse was completed on time and the new premises opened for business on Friday 14th November 2008.
We owe a great deal of thanks to JCP Consultants and Q-mac Construction, not forgetting the various sub contractors, for pulling out all the stops to make the November 09 deadline. The Christmas and New Year holiday afforded us plenty of opportunity to get the new place "broken in" as it were and despite a few teething problems we are now fully operational.
Everyone is mighty pleased to be free of the confines of our existence in a porta-cabin for 12 months but no doubt the loyal "cabin crew" will wax nostalgic about it for years to come and it is thanks to all those loyal club members who continued to support the club that made our 2008 year successful despite not having our proper premises.

OFFICIAL OPENING OF NEW PREMISES 21st March 2009

Over 100 members and guests attended the official opening of the club - key guests included Dr Olive Brown of Sport NI, local MP & MLA Mr Sammy Wilson and Larne mayor, Cllr. Mr Bobby Mckee along with representatives from Qmac Construction Limited and JCP Consulting. The sun shone showing the club at its best and excellent musical entertainment was provided by Ms Loreto McAuley as all enjoyed an excellent buffet provided by Cafe Cross.

Centenary Celebrations
The centenary year commenced with a celebration dinner held in Cairndhu Golf Club on 8th November 2008 and is followed by a full programme of activities both sporting and social  throughout the 2009 season.  See the Centenary Events page for more information.

Centenary Book
The club is indebted to Irene McCarlie, Joe Bailie, Jim Kyle and their team for the production of the Centenary Book which is now available to purchase for £3 at the clubhouse. It is full of interesting facts about the club with photos covering many years of history at the Glenaram Road venue.
